Iran Air Gives Up Cargo Terminal to Pay Debts

Iran Air has agreed to give up the cargo terminal it holds at the base in Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA).

An informed source has, according to Tinn, told that a meeting between the Iran Air CEO Farhad Parvaresh and Tehran Imam Khomeini’s (IKIA) CEO Mahmoud Navidi has been held. The two parties discussed Iran Air’s debt to IKIA, with a resolution where the national carrier agreed to give up its cargo terminal in exchange for debt reliefs.

The deal concerning Iran Air’s cargo terminal in the airport’s southeastern part is however not definitive yet.
