South Korean Government Awarded to Design Isfahan’s New Terminal

The Iran’s Airports Company (IAC) has reportedly agreed and implemented an MoU together with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), a governmental organization involving in various foreign projects, regarding the project of a new international terminal in Isfahan.

Isfahan International Airport had been seeking for international partners for its new expansion plans during several months when KOICA voluntarily announced their interest to participate in the development plans.

The MoU was signed between the governmental organizations of IAC, Iran’s Air Navigation Company (IAANC) and KOICA. It involves preliminary studies on the design of the new international terminal on behalf of KOICA, with credits achieved from the South Korean Government.

The MoU was agreed during KOICA’s visit to the airport yesterday. In May 2016, Tehran Imam Khomeini’s Airport City (IKAC) and Seoul Incheon Airport agreed to commence a deeper cooperation.
