Bandar Abbas International Airport will get a boost of flights to a number of domestic destinations in the forthcoming weeks.
According to an announcement from the airport, flights to Tehran, Mashhad and Isfahan will increase. Kish Air will start by increasing the frequency on routes to respectively Mashhad and Isfahan from 2 to 3 weekly rotations. These flights are planned to be operated by the airline’s Fokker 100. Recently, Kish Air also acquired a few numbers of the Airbus A320 aircraft.
At the same time ATA Airlines intends to resume its once suspended route from Bandar Abbas to Tehran. The route will as schedule see daily afternoon flights operated by B737-300.
No further flight details, nor launch dates have been announced by the airport or airlines at the time of writing.
