The Turkish privately owned airline, BoraJet, has confirmed the plans to launch the Arak – Ardabil – Istanbul route.
The route will be operated during the summer season as chartered flights, with help from charter companies in Arak and Ardabil in sales and marketing. This route are the airports’ first route to a European city in modern history.
The route which starts on 21st of May 2016 will be operated on Sundays and Wednesdays by the airline’s newly leased Embraer 190 with capacity for 100 passengers.
According to the airline’s website, they also operate charter flights to Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tabriz.
