Taban Air Adds 7 New Routes

Taban Air has announced 7 new seasonal routes for the Summer 2016. The planned routes are new to the network, with exception for the services from Tehran to Moscow and Saint Petersburg previously been effective.

The number of international flights from Iran has increased, not least when looking at Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport’s statistics. Last year the capital’s international airport experienced a 13% growth and is pedicted to see another 8,5% growth this Iranian calender year, according to the Iranian Airports Holding Company.

Lately an enhanced number of Iranian airlines have launched seasonal flights during the demanded times. The leading airline at the moment in regards to added flight frequency during those periods is Mahan Air, but more airlines such as Taban Air and Zagros Airlines are at speed catching up. Taban Air has this year decided to put focus on flights to Eastern Europe and Pakistan.

Isfahan will along with the new Taban Air schedule see its first flight to a European country. Previously reported on Aviation Iran, Austrian has suspended the launch of Isfahan flights till September 2016, giving Taban Air the honor to perform the first flight to Europe.

The details for the summer seasonal flights have not been disclosed by Taban Air to this date.

Tehran – Varna – Tehran, 3rd July 2016.

Isfahan – Tbilisi – Isfahan, 8th May 2016.

Tehran – Tbilisi – Tehran, 30th May 2016.

Tehran – Batumi – Tehran, 3rd June 2016.

Mashhad – Multan – Mashhad, 17th May 2016.

Tehran – Saint Petersburg – Tehran, 10th June 2016.

Tehran – Moscow – Tehran, 3rd June 2016.
