Three Iranian Airlines to Resume Georgia Flights

Flights between the Iranian and Georgian capitals are set to resume after months of suspension. Generally, flights between the two countries have had an unclear history with airlines unscheduled starting and suspending the services. Now three Iranian airlines have announced their readiness to resume flights from Tehran to Tbilisi.

On 15 February 2016 Georgia and Iran agreed to free visa rules. As planned, ATA Airlines is resuming flights from Tehran to Tbilisi in 1-2 weeks, following Mahan Air and Qeshm Air starting flights on the same route in March 2016.
