The Director of the Khuzestan Province Airports, Mohammad Reza Rezaei, announced that the main city of the province Ahvaz is getting increased flights to the capital Tehran, Tinn reports. It is Caspian Airlines that launches a 7 weekly service between Ahvaz and Tehran. This new service expands the total flights between Ahvaz and Tehran to 19 weekly.
The Airport Director Mr. Rezaei furhter announced that Ahvaz Airport can offer more and has place for other new airlines and destinations.
Ahvaz Airport is an underdog among the Iranian airport with its 460 weekly flights to Tehran, Mashhad, Kish, Isfahan, Shiraz, Sari, Rasht, Khark, Siri, Lavan, Bandar Abbas, Tabriz, Yazd, Kerman, Asalouyeh, Istanbul and Kuwait.
