The director of Qeshm Air has told Tinn that Qeshm Air is looking to launch new flights to the Iranian cities of Isfahan, Gorgan, Tabriz and Kermanshah.
Today the airline operates flights to 19 domestic and 14 international destinations. The new flights to the four new Iranian cities will all origin from the island of Qeshm.
Qeshm Air has transported 117,310 passengers from Tehran to Qeshm and 59,665 from Qeshm to Dubai during the past year (Persian Calendar). The airline Director announces that 60 domestic and 30 international flights occur each month to the base in Qeshm. Qeshm Air operates all of it flights with Fokker 100s, RJ85/100s and A300s.
The Director further announced that during January/February 2016, 7 new routes were launched making it a total of 28 domestic routes with an estimated of 2632 passengers per month. The monthly flights increased from 90 to 118, noting a 31% increase.
In the near future, Qeshm Air is set to commence Qeshm – Mashhad, Sari -Shiraz and Qeshm – Muscat flights.
