China Southern Airlines plans to increase the frequency on the Beijing – Urumqi – Tehran route. Today the route is served by four weekly flights, as of 27 March 2016 it is being increased to five as of an additional flight on Sundays. The flight will depart Beijing and head to Tehran on a rough 10 hours trip with a stop in Urumqi. It departs as CZ6025 from Beijing at 15:05 and arrives in Tehran at 22:00 with a one hour stopover inbetween in Urumqi. The return flight departs Tehran as CZ6026 at 23:30 and lands in Beijing at 12:35, also with a stopover in Urumqi. All the flights are operated by B737-700.
As of 27 March 2016, there will be flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and Saturdays from Beijing/Urumqi to Tehran.
