Iran and Turkmenistan have renewed an MoU in air transport.
Morad Esmaeli from Iran Civil Aviation Organisation’s announced a new MoU with Turkmenistan, in which the allowed number of allowed flights to Turkmenistan has been increase, Tinn reports. Esmaeli and his Turkmen counterpart discussed new guidelines and determined the permitted airlines to operate flights between the two countries. According to the report, one Iranian and one Turkmen airline are allowed to operate up to 7 weekly flights each. The two airlines are most likely to be Turkmenistan Airlines and Iran Air.
Any obstacles to launch cargo flights have also been removed.
