Iran Aseman Airlines is increasing its frequency on the Gorgan – Tehran route, Tinn.ir reports. Aseman is currently operating the route 40 times per week, but is increasing to 43 in the next coming days. Gorgan is a rapid growing city with more than 350, 000 population, situated in the northeast of Tehran. The city is also the province capital.
Teymour Amiri, the head of the airports in the Golestan Province commented: These flights will be operated by ATR72, 43 times per week. He continued and added that the approach by Aseman is very appreciated by the locals and that the airport now will see 54 weekly flights, most of them to Tehran.
