Iran Air’s Future A321 Routes; First Int’l Flight in 2 Months

Iran Air has on its website outlined the newly delivered Airbus A321’s planned routes for the upcoming week. The routes are all domestic and include a visit to all of Iran Air’s major national destinations.

The first operated flight was a charter for the families of martyrs on 17 January 2017, from Tehran-Mehrabad to Mashhad, and the aircraft has since the day after been deployed on various domestic routes. In a press release, Iran Air’s CEO stated that the new 194-seat aircraft is planned to fly in Iran for the next 2 months. After that, it will also operate flights to international destinations, including European.

The schedule is as following, published by Iran Air:

20 January 2017: Tehran (Mehrabad) – Mashhad – Isfahan – Mashhad – Tehran

21 January: Tehran – Kermanshah – Tehran, Tehran – Abadan – Tehran, Tehran – Bandar Abbas – Tehran

22 January: Tehran – Zahedan – Tehran, Tehran – Mashhad – Tehran, Tehran – Bushehr – Tehran

23 January: Tehran – Ahvaz – Tehran, Tehran – Tabriz – Tehran, Tehran – Mashhad – Tehran

24 January: Tehran – Mashhad – Tehran, Tehran – Shiraz – Tehran, Tehran – Bushehr – Tehran

25 January: Tehran – Bushehr -Tehran, Tehran – Mashhad – Shiraz – Mashhad – Tehran

26 January: Tehran – Bushehr – Tehran, Tehran – Kermanshah – Tehran, Tehran – Isfahan – Tehran

27 January: Tehran – Bushehr – Tehran, Tehran -Kermanshah – Tehran, Tehran – Mashhad – Tehran

Iran Air’s new Airbus A321 (EP-IFA) has until today (19 January 2017) already visited Tehran, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Isfahan, Bushehr and Ardabil.
